This episode is the seventh, and final part of the series, and it ends on a rather sobering and personal experience by Dr. Asher as well as the real life experiences of people who have woken in dream states to a strange location, one both familiar and sinister. Dream abductions seem to point to targeted people who may be in the process of being placed into the simulacrum. Simulacrum
A simulacrum is a representation or imitation of a person or thing. The word was first recorded in the English language in the late 16th century, used to describe a representation, such as a statue or a painting, especially of a god. By the late 19th century, it had gathered a secondary association of inferiority: an image without the substance or qualities of the original.
